Dev Log #017 — Early Interface Planning

Most development discussions so far have focused on systems.

This week I started thinking more seriously about presentation.

Complex systems are useless if players cannot navigate them comfortably.

The interface must remain clean, responsive, and easy to understand.

Because Firetorn is being designed with mobile users in mind, every screen must work equally well on desktop and phones.

Many early browser games were built before smartphones existed. Firetorn has the advantage of learning from those limitations.
